A man was fatally shot over the weekend at an apartment complex in Mesquite, according to police.
Shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Gus Thomasson Road in Mesquite, where they found a man, identified as Anthony Matlock, 23, who had been shot inside of an apartment, police said.
Matlock was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Police are still investigating the incident.
