Man killed in Stemmons Corridor shooting, Dallas police say

A man was killed in a shooting early Sunday in Stemmons Corridor, Dallas police said.

The shooting was reported about 3 a.m. in the 5000 block of Sharp Street off Irving Boulevard. According to a Dallas police call log, an unknown person shot the victim before fleeing.

The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead, police said. The investigation continues.
