We’re Starting the Weekend with Rainfall

This mild and showery weather pattern is going to continue into the first part of the weekend.

The next good chance of more widespread rain will be Saturday. Expect periods of rain and a few thunderstorms, although no severe weather is expected. Highs will be around 70.

Drier weather can be expected for Sunday into Monday, although a stray shower can’t be ruled out Monday afternoon.

A major storm system will move into the Central U.S. early next week with a strong cold front. A few thunderstorms will be possible in North Texas on Tuesday. Some storms could be severe so make sure you stay up with the forecast for early next week.

The storm system and associated cold front will move east of North Texas by Wednesday bringing a return of more December-like weather with highs into the 40s/50s and lows into the 30s.
