Man accused of chasing woman with a gun in Fort Worth mall taken into custody, police say

A man was arrested on Christmas Eve after multiple people said he chased a woman with a gun inside a Fort Worth shopping mall, police said.

Around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to respond to reports of a possible shooter at Hulen Mall, at 4800 Hulen St., police said. The mall was placed on lockdown.

No shots were fired, but multiple people told police that a man was chasing a woman with a gun, police said.

The man left the mall and went to a nearby apartment complex, where officers took him into custody, police said.

Police did not say what charges, if any, the man is facing, and did not provide any information related to his identity.
