Another Morning Freeze and then, a Warming Trend

After a cold stretch of weather, temperatures are trending much warmer for the last week of 2022.

Tuesday morning lows will fall into the lower to mid-20s. Please prepare for another hard freeze by protecting your plants, pipes and pets. By the afternoon, highs will rise into the upper-40s to lower-50s.

Thanks to a breezy southerly wind, highs will climb well above normal for Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures will range from the mid-60s to lower-70s.

Our next chance for rain looks to arrive Thursday and Friday with scattered showers possible. Better rain chances will appear on next Monday.

It will be mild for New Year’s festivities with no travel problems expected across North Texas.
