Motorcyclist, bystander killed in crash on I-30 in Fort Worth, police say

A motorcyclist and bystander were killed in a crash on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth early Saturday.

About 2:30 a.m., police say a black sedan stopped in either the westbound lanes or on the right shoulder of Interstate 30 near Alta Mere Drive when a man on a motorcycle hit the car and was thrown from the bike.

A woman who was standing outsie the sedan was “impacted by the collision” before both she and the man were struck by passing vehicles, according to police.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities were not released.

The investigation is ongoing, but police said no charges are expected to be filed.
