HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — After a cold front moved through Thursday morning, temperatures have tumbled. You’ll feel it Friday morning with feels like temperatures between 32 to 36.

Dry, sunny, cool, quiet weather over the next couple of days. Beautiful weather through the weekend.

Beyond the weekend, a weak disturbance brings a slight rain chance for rain on MLK Day. Otherwise, our next best chance for rain and storms will be next Wednesday.

Gusty northerly winds will continue to bring in cold air from the north. Most inland areas will fall to the upper 30s and lower 40s. That same persistent breeze will give us feels like temps in the lower and middle 30 range.

How long will this cooler weather last?

Through Saturday. The chilliest night looks to be Friday night with temperatures across the area in the mid to upper 30s. High temperatures in the 50s and 60s.

What’s the outlook for weather during the Chevron Houston Marathon?

It looks like a runner’s delight! The weather looks to be rain-free with a cool start to the race. Temperatures the morning of the marathon are expected to be in the lower to middle 50s near the start of the run Sunday.
