Man arrested, accused of kidnapping following disappearance of woman in Collin County

A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 33-year-old Kayla Kelley, who was reported missing last week, according to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.

Ocastor Ferguson, 32, who also goes by the name Kevin Brown, was identified as a person of interest in Kelley’s disappearance, the sheriff’s office said. The office added that Ferguson was arrested and accused of kidnapping. Online jail records showed that he was arrested Saturday in Grand Prairie.

His bond is $1 million, according to the sheriff’s office. It is unclear if he has an attorney.

Kelley’s friends reported her missing on Wednesday after she was not seen for “several days,” the sheriff’s office said. Her car was found in a “remote area” in Frisco, they added.

The incident is under investigation. Police did not provide further information.

Anyone with information about Kelley’s disappearance is asked to call the Collin County Sheriff’s Office at 972-547-5100, or to text information to 847411.
