From sweating to sweaters: Cooler temperatures coming in North Texas forecast

A cooling trend will occur across North Texas over the next two days.

Thursday will feature sunshine. It will still be mild but cooler than recent days with highs near 70. Friday will be even cooler with highs in the 50s. Friday will also be cloudy with a chance of showers or drizzle.

The weekend will turn warmer with highs in the low 60s on Saturday, and in the 70s on Sunday. The potential for a few showers or drizzle will continue through the weekend, but it will not be a washout.

After a chance of a thunderstorm Sunday night, the start of next week will be dry and mild with highs in the 70s.
