Man found fatally shot in far northeast Dallas, police say

A man was found fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in far northeast Dallas, police say.

Officers responded about 1:30 p.m. to the 8200 block of the LBJ Freeway access road and found a man unresponsive on the ground, police said Thursday.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and the man died at the scene. Police did not identify him.

Detectives determined that someone shot the man and fled, police said. They did not identify a suspect in the shooting.
