UT Dallas panel about viral AI chatbot ChatGPT to be rescheduled due to severe weather

Anticipating severe weather, the University of Texas at Dallas and are rescheduling a panel discussion on the AI chatbot, ChatGPT, that was to occur on the UTD campus on Thursday evening.

Those who registered will receive details on the new event date when it’s announced.

ChatGPT has gone viral since being released by the research company OpenAI in November. It has been used to write code, poetry and even an architectural review of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

UTD faculty members and science reporter Adithi Ramakrishnan were planning to discuss new AI tools and questions surrounding ChatGPT. Can it replace human responses and ideas? And what are the limits of its abilities? Stay tuned.
