Dallas’ well-known literary figure, Amin Tirmizi, passed away.

Dallas: Dallas bright star of Urdu literature and poetry passed away in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday night. The literary figure, aged 78, he passed away after suffering from leukemia. He promoted Urdu literature through his local radio program, and thousands of listeners became fans through his work.

Amin Tirmizi was a fan of Urdu literature in Dallas. In many fields of literature, he showed his unique colors, wrote columns, used to write fiction as well as poetry. He made his name through the promotion of Urdu literature through his radio programs and cultivated Urdu literature and poetry for a new generation here in Dallas. He was diagnosed with leukemia a few months ago, after which he recovered and moved back to his home. However, on Wednesday and Thursday night, he suddenly became quiet and returned to his creator. His fictions, such as “Ghar ka Na Ghaat ka” and along with many others, such as “Dusri Shadi ki Anookhi Izaazat,” were widely read and appreciated.

He moved to the USA about 30-40 years ago and was involved in various businesses. He shared a close bond with famous personalities, such as Like Khan and Shahid Jafari, who were fondly referred to as his “Yaar Ghar.

”He left behind his wife, Rabia Tirmizi, son Dr. Owais Tirmizi, and daughter Sadia Tirmizi. His funeral prayers was held held at the Masjid Dar El-Eman Mosque in South Arlington, Texas, while he was buried this at Al Baqi (Moor Garden) Muslim Cemetery on South Davis Street in Arlington.

Dallas Literary Association and community leaders have deep sorrow and grief, which they have expressed on his death. They said that he will always be remembered for his services and promotion of Urdu literature in Dallas. Community leaders and well-known personalities have prayed and expressed condolences to his family that Allah Almighty will grant him paradise and he will rest in peace.
