Dallas police share image of vehicle used in fatal 2022 shooting in Pleasant Grove

Dallas police on Wednesday shared more evidence in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman in Pleasant Grove last year, and they are asking the public’s help in identifying the shooter.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m. April 10, someone shot Ja Meesia Anderson-Busby in the 9800 block of Grove Oaks Boulevard, police have said. The shooter ran away following the shooting.

On Wednesday, Dallas police released security camera footage from the neighborhood that they said shows the assailant, who is wearing a gray hoodie and red sweatpants.

Authorities also shared an image of a car that investigators said was driven by the shooter.
