Man dies after being shot Saturday night in South Dallas, police say

A 47-year-old man died after being shot Saturday in South Dallas.

Officers responded to the 3200 block of Junction Street and found a man with a gunshot wound in his upper body, according to police.

The victim, identified as Artemio Rivera, was taken to the hospital where he died, police said.

No arrests had been made in the case as of Sunday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
