Gradual warming trend

Despite a good deal of cloud cover, a warming trend sets in later today as highs rise into the upper 60s and lower 70s. By Wednesday, highs will soar into the low 80s. Also, a breezy southerly wind will prevail across North Texas as gusts reach up to 40 mph.

This week offers a few opportunities for rain. Some sprinkles will be possible on Tuesday, but the chance will be quite low. A Pacific storm system will bring the area thunderstorm chances late Thursday night and into Friday morning, some could be strong

The outlook for the upcoming weekend looks good: dry and mild with highs in the 70s.
