The 70s Roll On; A Mild Easter Sunday for North Texas

Easter Sunday will start off on a cool note with temperatures into the upper-40s to mid-50s. By the afternoon, highs will climb into the lower to mid-70s. With a northwest flow pattern, we’ll watch some thunderstorms reaching far northwest North Texas by Sunday night. This activity should decrease in coverage into Monday morning.

Our next disturbance, via the northwest, arrives on Monday bringing low rain chances to North Texas. A ridge will then build for the remainder of the week, allowing for sunshine and warmer temperatures into the lower-80s.

By next weekend, an advancing storm system will bring the area shower and thunderstorm chances. Expect a cool down as highs will fall back into the 70s by next Monday.
