70-year-old man reported missing in Dallas last week found dead inside vehicle, police say

Authorities on Sunday found the body of a man who was reported missing last week, according to Dallas police.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to the 4800 block of South Lancaster Road, where they found the man, identified by police as Eddie Daniel Jeffrey, 70, inside of a vehicle, according to police. It was the same location authorities had said Jeffrey was last seen on Monday.

He was reported missing Wednesday, according to police.

Police had said Jeffrey, who was wearing a light blue jackets, a blue and white shirt, and beige pants, was missing and may have needed assistance.
