Drier weather for Wednesday, potential for severe storms overnight

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We should be mostly dry on Wednesday before another disturbance rolls in late Wednesday night and pushes a cool front through Southeast Texas Thursday morning.

While Wednesday only has a 20% chance for rain, there’s a 60% chance for thunderstorms during the Thursday morning commute hours. Another upper-level storm arrives Saturday with another cool front, and you guessed it, another chance for thunderstorms.

What does the rest of the weekend look like?

Scattered showers will be possible Saturday especially in the morning hours as our next front moves through. This front may not completely dry us out though which could leave us with a few showers on Sunday.
