Gradual clearing in D-FW, storm chances return Friday

Morning drizzle and fog is possible across North Texas, but yesterday’s storms are gone. Clouds will gradually diminish later today, allowing for midday sunshine. It will remain cool, however, thanks to a northwest wind. This afternoon and evening will be dry.

A brief shot of thunderstorms returns late Friday afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could be severe with hail, high winds, and perhaps a tornado.

Some showers may linger into early Saturday, but most of the weekend looks dry. Temperatures will drop a bit on Saturday with rain pushing out by midday. Sunday will be warmer with highs in the upper 70s.
