Were you impacted by the Allen mall shooting? Here’s where to get help

Eight people were killed and seven were injured during a shooting Saturday at the Allen Premium Outlets mall. Hundreds of people were forced to flee the scene as shots rang out.

On Monday, the Dallas division of the FBI released a list of local agencies providing services to the victims. The Dallas Morning News has compiledadditional resources.

Family Assistance Center

The FBI announced the opening of a Family Assistance Center in Allen. The center will be open Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and offer services for mental health, spiritual care, and potential financial assistance to those directly affected by the shooting.

The center is located at 451 St. Mary Drive, Allen, Texas, 75002.

American Red Cross

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metro East Chapter of the American Red Cross services Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Greyson, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall counties.

The American Psychological Association offers multiple resources and tools for those who’ve experienced shootings.

Office for Victims of Violent Crime

Victims may be eligible for compensation for reimbursement for medical services, counseling, lost wages, and other expenses.
