Pleasant weather is expected this Monday with sunshine and a high in the 80s. There will be a chance of evening thunderstorms out west, but these will not likely affect DFW.

Meanwhile, there will be a better chance of rain for the metroplex toward the middle of the week, especially Wednesday morning.

Dry weather looks to return by the end of the week and into Memorial Day week. Temperatures will be approaching 90 by then.
