Timely Provision of Loans from IMF is Essential for Pakistan’s Economic Stability – Center for Economic Reforms

Houston: lThe American senator Amy Klobuchar says that the relations between Pakistan and the United States are in the best interest of both countries economically. It is essential for the economic stability of Pakistan, the United States, and the international community. Therefore, the timely provision of loans from the IMF is necessary. She mentioned this during her address at a luncheon held in her honor in Houston by prominent Democratic leader Tahir Javed and renowned attorney Nauman Hussain.

During her visit to Pakistan in February last year, she observed goodwill from the Pakistani government and establishment towards improving Pakistan-US relations. On this occasion, Pakistani American Democratic leaders Tahir Javed and renowned attorney Nauman Hussain stated that they have initiated a series of meetings with US senators after members of Congress, with the aim of strengthening Pakistan-US relations and expediting the provision of loans from the IMF to Pakistan. These meetings are part of a series in which Pakistani American leaders have had detailed discussions with US senators on improving relations between Pakistan and the United States and facilitating the provision of loans from the IMF to Pakistan.
