Storm Chances Return to North Texas for Saturday

Additional storms are possible Saturday evening across North Texas. Some may become severe with large hail and damaging winds as the main threats. Please stay weather aware!

An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect through 8 p.m. Saturday for parts of North Texas. High heat and humidity are expected with highs soaring into the upper 90s to near 100 and heat index values in excess of 117.

A Heat Advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday, with heat index values up to 110 degrees expected.

The heat continues into next week, with several days near 100 degrees on the horizon. Stay hydrated & stay safe!
