Triple-digit streak up to 14 days in a row for Sunday

The heat wave continues across North Texas with highs once again climbing into the 100s for Sunday. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect through Sunday evening.

Along with the intense heat, the fire danger will remain critical, especially for areas west of I-35. Please practice your wildfire safety tips.

A cold front will move into North Texas by Monday, bringing a slight drop in temperatures. Also, rain chances will hold at 10% to 20% across the area. Our front will lift to the north as a warm front on Tuesday leading to increasing highs into mid-week.
