More excessive heat with the 15th triple-digit high in a row for Monday

A weak frontal boundary will move into North Texas on Monday, bringing a few isolated showers and storms. While rain chances will be very limited and much of the area will stay dry, those that do have thunderstorms on Monday could also see strong wind gusts.

Expect a wide range of high temperatures across North Texas due to the alignment of the cold front. Highs will range from the mid-90s (north and northeast) to the lower-100s (south and southwest). An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. Monday.

Along with the intense heat, the fire danger will remain elevated, especially for areas west of I-35.

Dry, sunny and hot conditions are expected to remain in place for mid to late week with highs climbing into the 100s each day.
