Dallas woman has been missing for 1 week, police say

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 65-year-old woman.

Lela Mckinney was last seen about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at the DART Ledbetter Station in the 2000 block of East Ledbetter Drive. Police believe she is on foot and may require assistance.

Mckinney is described as a Black woman who is 5-9 and about 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Mckinney’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 911 or 214-671-4268 and reference case No. 144061-2023.
