Rain chances and cooler weather this week in North Texas

The heat dome continues to weaken which will allow for cooler and wetter weather this week. High temperatures will still be around 90 on Monday, with the rest of the week in the low to mid-80s, perhaps even some upper 70s.

There will be an increased chance of rain as well. It won’t rain every day, everywhere, but the evolving jet stream pattern will bring several opportunities for rain throughout the week. By week’s end, much of North Texas will have received an inch or more of rain. Some spots may see as much as three inches!
