ATASCOCITA, Texas (KTRK) — A shelter-in-place has been lifted for an Atascocita neighborhood after a reported gas leak Wednesday evening.
The Atascocita Fire Department confirmed a rupture of a six-inch gas main near Atascocita Road and Blackstone Trails Drive. In a 6 p.m. update, officials said the gas leak had been secured.
SkyEye flew over the scene, where officials said CenterPoint Energy crews worked to make repairs over several hours.

Residents in the Blackstone Creek subdivision were asked to shelter in place, but officials said there were no further hazards or restrictions.
