No changes for now: Above normal temperatures to start the week

Mostly sunny and warm weather will continue for the start of the week with highs climbing into the 90s.

A pattern change is coming by the middle of the week as a potent system pushes into the region. The highest coverage of rain is expected Wednesday evening as a cold front moves across North Texas. While the rain is beneficial, there could be isolated flooding across parts of the area.

Cooler air will arrive with our midweek system. Fall weather will finally get here with high temperatures into the upper-70s to lower-80s. Overnight lows will fall into the upper-50s to mid-60s.
