State Life Insurance Corporation signs MoU to enhance health insurance cover

KARACHI: State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) has entered into a “strategic partnership” with MEDIQ Smart Healthcare to improve customer experience and increase health insurance penetration in Pakistan.

A press release by the insurance provider stated that the partnership’s objective was “to create customer-centric solutions that boost customer retention, enhance the overall customer experience, and expedite the penetration of health insurance in the country”.

SLIC Executive Director Shahid Baloch said the collaboration marked a significant stride towards the company’s commitment “to offer Pakistanis optimal health protection and financial empowerment”.

“Teaming up with MedIQ Smart Healthcare ensures that our customers can access necessary treatments without the added concern of financial burdens.”

MedIQ Smart Healthcare CEO Dr Saira Siddique said the two companies aimed to make healthcare services more accessible, efficient, affordable and customer-centric in Pakistan.
