Amid the banners of various human rights organizations in Dallas, a diverse gathering of hundreds, including men, women, children, and elders, convened outside Ted Cruz’s Republican Center office in downtown Dallas, Texas. They came together in protest against the termination of the ceasefire in Palestine and the ongoing challenges related to Palestinian territories.

Protesters took their grievances to the streets, marching along the highways surrounding the US Center office. Among them were not only residents of Dallas but also people hailing from different corners of the globe, such as India, Bangladesh, and Native Americans. They expressed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people while denouncing Israel’s actions in Gaza.

The demonstrators held aloft banners and placards bearing powerful messages. During the protest, participants passionately articulated that what’s happening in Palestine is not just a conflict; it’s an ongoing tragedy marked by cruelty and brutality. They urged international organizations, including the American government, to cease being passive observers and intervene to stop the violence against Palestinians.

Speakers at the event highlighted the grim reality in Palestine, with over nine thousand Palestinians, including a significant number of women and children, losing their lives, and more than 32,000 individuals suffering injuries. They decried the indifference of global human rights leaders toward the brutal actions of the Zionists and called for an end to the carnage.

The protest was characterized by a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to stand with the oppressed and against the oppressors. During a moment of prayer, many in the crowd shed tears while offering their heartfelt supplications for the Palestinian people.
