We’ll see a few showers Sunday and storms by Monday

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — After a dry Saturday, we do have some rain chances in the days to come.

How does the weather look the rest of the weekend?

A weather system passing to our north on Sunday will lift a warm front overhead, pushing clouds and rain showers through Southeast Texas. We are still predicting a 30% chance for rain on Sunday for the afternoon, though we shouldn’t see anything heavier than a passing shower. Temperatures will again be in a seasonal range with lows in the 50s and highs in the mid 70s. This weather system is expected to bring an additional chance for thunderstorms late Monday, a couple of which could be strong. Clouds are expected to linger into Tuesday with a cold wind, but it will likely be dry.

Does Thanksgiving still look cool and dry?

For the most part yes! After mostly dry weather Tuesday and Wednesday, a disturbance will pass by just to our east. It may get just close to us to spark an isolated shower. And it will be cool with lows in the 40s, and highs in the 60s.
