Sindhi Topi and Ajrak Day Celebration Spreads Globally, Uniting Communities in USA

Dallas: In order to keep the civilization and culture of Sindh alive, where Sindhi Topi and Ajrak Day was started in Sindh for many years, now this day is being celebrated all over the world including America as the day of unity of Sindhi culture.
To celebrate, Sindhi leaders Moazzam Bhangar, Aamir Memon, Shafi Khawaja, Ghulam Nabi Kalor, Imtiaz Pirzada, and others organized this event. Community leaders living in Houston and Dallas also participated in this special day. The guests who came on the occasion were entertained with sumptuous food while the attendees performed a traditional dance on Sindhi music. In the event, information quiz program related to Sindh and other activities were also conducted, the aim of which was to make the young generation aware of the history of Sindh. Organizer Moazzam Bhangar and Central Vice President of Sindhi Association of North America Asghar Pathan Karam Din Dahri and others said that we feel proud that we are celebrating this day in USA as well. They said that away from home. This is our home, the community is together, we are keeping the culture alive and telling the future generations how to keep our culture alive.
Pakistanis from other provinces of Pakistan also participated in this event, who enjoyed the cultural colors in the event. He said that the purpose of our coming here is the unity and solidarity of Pakistan. In the ceremony, Sindhi singer Salman Makhdoom, who came from Canada, gave a rich performance on Sufi and Sindhi songs and forced the audience to dance and dance uncontrollably.
