Mesquite resident wins $1 million top prize on a scratch off ticket

A Mesquite resident won big on a scratch ticket game, Texas Lottery announced Monday.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, recently claimed the top prize of $1 million playing the Millionaire Maker, the release said.

The ticket was bought at Mr. Joe’s Food Mart on Motley Drive in Mesquite.

This was the third of 15 prizes worth $1 million in the game.

Overall odds of winning any prize in Millionaire Marker are one in 3.54, including break-even prizes, according to the release.
