In Houston, Texas, a 17-year-old is currently in custody, facing charges of driving under the influence, following a tragic incident on Friday night that resulted in a fatal crash, claiming the life of an unidentified woman. Hunter Cameron Villasana, charged with intoxication manslaughter, made a court appearance on Monday.

The specific identity of the deceased woman is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The incident occurred at approximately 11:25 p.m. on December 15, along the 7700 Katy Freeway service road.

According to the Houston Police Department, the woman was sleeping beneath a bridge when she was struck by a black Mercedes GLK350 traveling westbound near the Katy Freeway.
