Man dies at hospital after officers find him shot in Uptown Dallas, police say

A man died at a hospital Wednesday after he was found shot in Uptown Dallas, police said.

Dallas police officers responded around 5 p.m. to a shooting call in the 2200 block of McKinney Avenue, near North Pearl Street, where they found a man shot on the sidewalk. The man, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.

Police are investigating the shooting. No additional details were immediately available.
