Christmas Eve starts wet in North Texas, as cold front brings showers, thunderstorms

Showers and thunderstorms will move across area into Sunday morning. Expect highs into the upper-60s with a breezy southwest wind by the afternoon.

The rain will move out of North Texas by Sunday evening (Christmas Eve). A cold front will push through late Sunday and bring chillier air into the region. This means Monday (Christmas Day) will be much cooler with highs into the lower to mid-50s and a breezy northwest wind.
