Take the jacket; Below normal temperatures for Thursday

Expect cool temperatures for Thursday with highs into the upper-40s to mid-50s.

Cooler weather will last into Friday. The average high at this time of year is 56. And we won’t climb above that mark again until New Year’s weekend. But we should see 60 or above both Saturday and Sunday.

The next cold front will arrive Sunday evening, so in spite of the pleasant Sunday afternoon, prepare for chilly temperatures by the time we ring in the New Year. And next week will bring several opportunities for rain.
