Man fatally shot during break-in at Pleasant Grove apartment, Dallas police say

A 24-year-old man was fatally shot during a break-in in Pleasant Grove Saturday afternoon, Dallas police say.

Officers were dispatched about 2:40 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 440 block of South St. Augustine Drive, near Silver Falls Boulevard, where they found Juvenal Antero had been shot.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and took Antero to a hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said.

According to police, two suspects forced their way into Antero’s apartment, and both fled the scene after the shooting. No arrests had been announced as of Sunday evening.
