Patchy fog and a good chance of rain

Wednesday night will be dry and chilly with low temperatures mostly in the upper 30s. There may be some fog that develops by early Thursday. Visibility may drop below a mile in a few locations before sunshine breaks out of the clouds for the afternoon.

Rain returns by Thursday night. Widespread showers are likely after 9 p.m. and last well after midnight. Temperatures will remain well above freezing, so there will be no winter precipitation, just rain. Most rain will exit by sunrise Friday morning, so much of Friday will be dry.

The weekend looks dry before yet another chance of rain arrives on Monday. This rain could be heavy and in the form of thunderstorms. Sharply colder weather will likely move in with a cold front by Monday night.
