Far North Dallas shooting leaves 1 dead, 2 injured; suspect at large

One man was killed and two others were injured Wednesday night in a Far North Dallas shooting.

Officers responded about 7:30 p.m. to a shooting call in the 13400 block of Esperanza Road and determined three men had been shot at the location.

Two of the victims were transported to one hospital by first responders while the third was driven in a private vehicle to a different hospital, police said. Christian Bernard Hood, 25, died from his injuries.

The two surviving victims were listed in stable condition as of Thursday morning.

Crime in The NewsNo arrest has been announced in the case and the investigation is ongoing. Police released no other details about the shooting.
