Warmer wind and sun return to North Texas on Sunday

Sunday will start cold with lows ranging from the upper-20s to mid-30s. Areas to the east of Dallas, could experience some patchy fog. Otherwise, with an abundance of sunshine, temperatures will climb into the upper-50s to lower-60s. Also, expect a breezy southeast wind.

The next storm system will bring rain to all of North Texas on Monday, perhaps even a thunderstorm or two. No severe weather is expected close to home, but some severe storms are possible closer to the Gulf Coast. A cold front will sweep across the area Monday night, so Tuesday will be windy and much colder.

Late next week and next weekend a strong cold front may be poised to bring some the coldest air so far this winter.
