‘No issues’ found after threat triggers Carroll High School evacuation, authorities say

A North Texas high school was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after authorities got a tip about a bomb threat at the campus, according to the Southlake Department of Public Safety.

In a post to X shortly after 2 p.m., the department said it received an anonymous alert regarding a bomb threat at Carroll High School, located in the 800 block of North White Chapel Boulevard in Southlake.

The incident was considered “over” and “no issues were found” after the investigation, the department said in a post shortly before 4:30 p.m., adding that North White Chapel Boulevard had reopened.

Beth Robb, a marketing coordinator for the school district, confirmed in an email Wednesday that the campus was evacuated because of a bomb threat. Students and staff were relocated to Durham Intermediate School, the email stated.
