A man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting in North Richland Hills

A Tarrant County man faces charges in connection with a shooting that resulted in the death of another man in North Richland Hills on Friday afternoon.

According to the North Richland Hills Police Department, 25-year-old Michael J. Williams has been charged with murder in relation to the shooting death of a 25-year-old man.

The fatal shooting occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Buenos Aires Drive.

Upon receiving reports of the shooting, police promptly responded to the scene and apprehended Williams. They also discovered the 25-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds, who later succumbed to his injuries.

Williams is currently being held at the Tarrant County Jail on his charges, with no bond set at this time.

The identity of the victim will be disclosed to the public once next of kin has been notified, as per police statements.

The North Richland Hills Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic shooting.
