Authorities are probing a shooting incident in South Dallas that left five individuals wounded

Police in southern Dallas are investigating a shooting incident from Friday night that resulted in five people sustaining injuries.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) received a call regarding the incident around 8:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Stoneport Drive.

According to police reports, three adults and two minors were shot during the incident. All the victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.

The suspects involved in the shooting fled the scene in a vehicle whose details remain unknown.

At present, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, but authorities have stated that there is no imminent threat to the public.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
