Grand jury says not enough evidence against ExxonMobil executive accused of sexual assault

In Montgomery County, a grand jury has concluded that there is insufficient evidence to pursue the sexual assault case against David Scott, an ExxonMobil executive.

David Scott was apprehended in October at a hotel located in Magnolia.

As per records, the victim reported that she and her friend encountered Scott earlier in the evening at a bar and subsequently met him at a hotel. During this period, the victim’s friend fell ill, prompting her to go to the restroom. It was during this time that the victim alleged Scott assaulted her.

Following Scott’s apprehension, he posted a $30,000 bond and was suspended from his position as ExxonMobil’s vice president.

After several months, a grand jury has determined that there is insufficient evidence for the case to proceed further.
