‘Humble, beautiful human being’: Friends and family hold funeral services for Frank Kwasnica

Family and friends from across North Texas gathered in Grand Prairie to attend the funeral services of Frank Kwasnica, a 52-year-old grandfather who tragically lost his life. Three men face charges of capital murder, accused of beating Kwasnica to death.

The funeral, held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Grand Prairie, was filled with heartfelt songs, prayers, and reminiscences of cherished memories. Siarra Radley, Kwasnica’s eldest daughter, expressed her gratitude to the community for their overwhelming support during the difficult time.

“I’m very, very grateful to everybody for showing up to show how special my dad was and how he impacted everybody’s life,” said Radley.

Kwasnica, described as humorous and reliable, worked at Sam’s Club and was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. Former co-worker Chris High fondly remembered him as a genuine and cheerful person who always lent a helping hand.

Lori Jones, who knew Kwasnica since childhood, shared touching anecdotes illustrating his compassionate nature. She recalled how he selflessly cared for her sick grandmother, demonstrating his kind-heartedness.

Tragically, Kwasnica’s life came to a brutal end when he was fatally assaulted by three men at an apartment complex in Arlington. The suspects, identified as Norlan Yahir Gomez Torres, and brothers Brayan Josadat Amador Vasquez and Jared Samir Amador Vasquez, allegedly beat Kwasnica to death before stealing his car.

The investigation, aided by surveillance footage and cell phone videos, led to the arrest of the suspects, who are Honduran nationals. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but evidence suggests it may have stemmed from a confrontation over a collision or road rage incident.

As the family seeks justice for Kwasnica, they remember him fondly for his kindness and generosity.

“He would’ve done anything for anybody,” said Radley. “He will be remembered forever. He was so special, and I wish this wouldn’t have happened, so he could’ve impacted more people’s lives.”
