Meghan Markle, Prince Harry rebrand strategy marred by ‘internal conflict’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly struggling to figure out their footing in the wake of their uncertain future in the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently sparked buzz last week after revamping their website under the banner of Sussex.com, and changing their kids’ surname from Mountbatten-Windsor to Sussex.

Moreover, the Spare author extended a very public olive branch to his cancer-stricken father King Charles in an interview with Good Morning America host Will Reeves.

Speaking to OK! former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond revealed the former royals appeared to declare their independence via a latest row of moves.

However, she noted, “there is an internal conflict going on. They want separation from the royal family and yet they want titles for themselves and their children.”

“I think it’s a fresh start for Meghan and the children, and sends out the message that they are a strong, close-knit family,” the royal expert said.

“They’ve come under so much criticism but this is her hitting back, making everyone know they are stronger than ever.”
