Mother, young daughter killed after being hit by vehicle in Dallas

A tragic incident occurred in a Dallas neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the death of a mother and her young daughter after they were struck by a vehicle.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. in the 8300 block of Spring Valley Road.

Upon arrival at the scene, Dallas Police found a woman and her daughter who had both been hit by a car.

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel promptly responded to assist the victims, transporting them to a local hospital.

Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, the mother and her daughter, whose identities have not yet been disclosed, succumbed to their injuries and passed away at the hospital.

Authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the crash scene. However, they did not indicate whether any charges would be filed.
