Parents had been fighting before murder-suicide in west Harris County neighborhood, daughter says

A family is now preparing for funeral arrangements following a tragic murder-suicide that occurred in a West Harris County neighborhood on Monday.

Authorities are still investigating the events that unfolded at Eagle Sage Lane, situated near Morton Ranch Road and the Grand Parkway on Sunday evening.

According to the couple’s daughter, her parents had been engaged in ongoing conflicts and had a history of domestic violence. She recounted calling 911 on Sunday afternoon when her father began firing shots at a wall.

Upon the deputies’ arrival, family members reportedly locked the door and declined assistance.

Approximately an hour later, the daughter heard additional gunshots and decided to leave the residence. Shortly thereafter, her parents were discovered deceased.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information regarding this case to come forward and assist in the investigation.
